Forever Ago collectibles
Photos are player-created images, not a fixed set of Polaroids to find. Petals reveal optional memories; chapter objects have their own achievement tasks. Choose the system you need, then use the chapter checklist below.
What to collect
| Set | Rule | Achievement |
|---|---|---|
| Photos | Free-form shots; limited roll and journal selection | 25 / 50 photos; 10 selfies |
| Petal vignettes | Gather petals off the path, then photograph the memory | Glimpse Into The Past, Petal Collector |
| Hat encounter | Nap, then investigate the diner bins (player route) | Hatless |
| Home pumpkins | Audrey’s objects at home, not shop pumpkins | World’s Largest Mosaic Pumpkin Collection |
Chapter-by-chapter collection checks
| Chapter | Practical check | Focused guide |
|---|---|---|
| 1: Falls | Room subjects, window portrait, falls walk | Photo tasks |
| 2: Pump mart | Pumpkin-side and playground-side petals; Milton selfie after learning the mechanic | Two reported locations |
| 3: Diner | Motel pool petals; flower-picking task and booth photo; bench-to-bin hat route | Pool route · Hat |
| 4: Breakdown | Complete inspections; no named optional petal spot verified | Coverage boundary |
| 5: Sam | House and field exploration; group selfie | Selfie count |
| 6: Resort | Check accessible buildings before the island trip; boat photograph | Region sweep |
| 7: Lighthouse | Dog-versus-nest scene and tower photo | Story-photo distinction |
| 8: Peak | Story route has ending spoilers; no exact optional petal list verified | Coverage boundary |
| 9: Home | Player-reported pumpkin sweep | Collapsed object checklist |
Chapter rows are checks, not collectible totals. A story photograph or ordinary flower does not establish a petal vignette at the same place.
Questions
Is this every collectible location?
No. The early petal locations are player-reported, later chapters have region checks, and exact vignette totals remain unverified. The photo system is free-form, so an “every Polaroid location” list would misdescribe it.
