Chapter 1: Woolson Falls
Woolson Falls is the 1974 camera lesson. You play as young Audrey, not Alfred. The chapter teaches the shutter, then hands the camera over at the end.

Route reported by player walkthroughs
- Photograph the instruction sheet on the table, the teddy bear on the bed, and the photo and calendar by the desk.
- When Alfred calls from outside the window, photograph him.
- On the drive, keep taking pictures and talking until the Woolson Falls sign appears. Photograph the sign.
- Crouch and photograph a flower.
- Photograph Alfred posing.
- At the end, Audrey gives the camera over. Use the timer for the portrait together, shake the print, and put it in the journal.
What this chapter is teaching
Use this opening to practice framing and the timer. Later journal selections are not the same as total photos taken. The camera and photo-count pages keep those two tasks separate.
Before the time skip
- Epic’s Snooping Shutterbug goal concerns every curious object in Alfred’s room. Inspect and photograph the room before the window portrait; the achievement does not publish an object count.
- Complete the window portrait and the walk’s requested photographs before following the next prompt.
- Wait for the timed portrait, develop the print and finish the journal interaction.
- No complete vignette-location list or chapter-specific achievement total is verified for this opening.
Questions
Do I play as Alfred in chapter 1?
No. The opening controls young Audrey. Alfred is the person outside the window.
