What “play it today” actually means
- Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start from the Microsoft Store listing, which marked the game Included with Game Pass.
- The Steam listing is paid and does not list a demo. No official browser edition was found in the checked sources.
- Xbox lists the game as included with Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Cloud play is included with Ultimate; the listing requires a game purchase for cloud streaming with Premium or Essential.
- Steam confirms 13 interface/subtitle languages and English-only full audio; consult each console listing for its own language support.
Questions
Is Forever Ago free?
The official stores sell a paid game. Qualifying Game Pass subscriptions can provide access without a separate purchase, but are not a free standalone copy.
Can I play Forever Ago in a browser?
I did not find an official HTML5 or web demo. Pirate “play online” mirrors are not linked here.
