Is Forever Ago on Game Pass?
Yes. On the day I checked, the Microsoft Store page for Forever Ago said the game was included with Game Pass, and the launch date on that same page was 8 October 2026.
What the store page supports
| Claim | Status | Where I read it |
|---|---|---|
| On Game Pass at launch | Yes | Microsoft Store |
| Extra purchase for subscribers | Not required if the listing includes it | Same page |
| PC Game Pass and Ultimate | Named for game inclusion | Xbox product listing |
| Cloud play | Included with Ultimate; game purchase required with Premium or Essential | Xbox cloud note on the product listing |
| Console installation | Xbox Series X|S | Not a native Xbox One release |
| Leaving Game Pass on a set date | Not stated on the page I read | Do not treat a rumor as a removal date |
If you do not subscribe
Game Pass is a subscription, not a free copy. If you are not subscribed, the same Xbox page showed a US price of $19.99 reduced to $17.99 until 23 October 2026, 09:59 UTC.
PlayStation, Steam, Epic, and the Switch 2 eShop are separate purchases. Game Pass does not unlock those storefronts.
Questions
Which Game Pass plan includes Forever Ago?
Ultimate and PC Game Pass include the game. The product page includes cloud play with Ultimate and requires a game purchase to stream with Premium or Essential.
Is there a Game Pass release later than October 2026?
No. The inclusion date matches the 8 October 2026 launch, not a later add.
