Forever Ago on Xbox Series X|S
Forever Ago supports Xbox Series X|S and Windows through Microsoft, with Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud play listed. Xbox One is not listed for native installation.
What the Xbox page lists
- Xbox Play Anywhere, so a purchase can cover console and PC under Microsoft’s Play Anywhere rules.
- 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, 60 fps or higher, and spatial sound are store capability labels, not an independently measured performance guarantee.
- Xbox achievements, cloud saves, and Xbox Cloud Gaming appear on the availability line.
- The Xbox page lists 13 supported languages. Steam separately confirms English-only full audio.
- Cloud play is included with Ultimate; the store requires a game purchase to stream with Premium or Essential.
Buying versus subscribing
If Game Pass already covers your account, you do not need the $17.99 purchase. If it does not, the intro price on this page was the same $17.99 I saw on Steam, with a later cutoff: 23 October 2026, 09:59 UTC.
Questions
Can I install Forever Ago on Xbox One?
Xbox One is not listed for native installation. Cloud streaming is a separate route and requires a compatible device and entitlement.
Does Xbox Cloud Gaming support this game?
Yes. Cloud play is included with Ultimate. The store requires a game purchase to stream with Premium or Essential; those plans do not imply a free game license.
