Chapter 4: On the Road Back Home

Breakdown route reported by player guides

• The van is leaking oil. Inspect it from the rear, under the hood, and from the right side of the cabin.
• Pick up the journal from beside the dog.
• Walk north to the phone booth and play the scene.
• In the dream, keep moving forward, interact with the phone, and continue straight to the end.

If the next scene does not start

Review the three van inspections and journal pickup before heading down the road. Inside the dream, look for the telephone interaction rather than hunting for an unlisted repair tool. This is a progression checklist, not a diagnosis of every possible bug.
